This is one of those products where you don’t have to wonder how the idea was conceived. 

I can picture it now: 

Somebody was on the toilet holding a iPod.  The device was out of batteries and/or dropped on the floor.

Poof! The idea was born.  Combine an iPod holder with a toilet paper roller.  Not the most sanitary of inventions, but it’s certainly innovative and the design is awesome.
